INVISIBLE CITIES POSTER

Poster design for an imaginary theatre play about Despina, the city from Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities.

Despina is duplicitous. She receives a form of forgiveness that she opposes. Out of the desert Despina emerges as a ship, and out of the sea as a humpbacked stone. I designed the poster inspired by the dunes and desert storms, where everything changes in an instant and never keeps the same shape.
